My March 2015 Income Report

Monthly Income Report

Welcome to my online income report for March 2015. It definitely seems like I’m busy but my income seems to be growing much slower than I expected.  At this point, I’m trying to decide on which activities I want to continue to pursue because I feel like I’m spread out too thin on too many things. One of the things I’m struggling with is whether to continue reskinning apps. My apps bring in passive income each month but the amount of work I have to put in is disproportionate to the income they generate.

The other thing about iPhone apps is that I can’t fix things myself if there are problems. I don’t know how to program and it’s always really frustrating when I run into issues. I currently have another app in the works but I don’t know how many more I will produce. Speaking of apps, I just released a new app in March called Tattoo Boss. This app is based on the same source code as my last 3-4 apps. You can download Tattoo Boss here. Also take a look at the promo video I made:

I’m also working on some more Kindle books and hope to have another book out soon. That’s about all for now. Take a look at what my online assets were able to generate in March I had a nice little increase thanks to a good month for book sales!

How to Reskin Apps with No Programming Experience

I don’t know how to program, yet I manage to generate income from building apps myself. Using a method called reskinning, I am able to consistently publish apps to the app store without even having to hire a programmer! In the end, my expenses are much, much lower than developing an app from scratch. And I do it without hiring a developer or graphic designer. I’ve been doing this for about a year now and have 9 apps in the Apple app store.

The way I did it was buying source codes that have video courses that accompany them. This is the way to go when starting out! Since I had no idea what I was doing, the reskinning courses were perfect for me. I just finished my 9th app and feel pretty comfortable now. I still don’t know everything but I could not have done it without video instruction. In fact, I have to go back and watch the video tutorials every time I reskin those source codes.

If you want to get started with app reskinning, one of the courses I recommend is from an excellent teacher named Yohann Taieb. He explains everything you need to do from getting your account and devices set up for development to uploading the actual app file. Check out Yohann’s crossword puzzle source code and video course if you want a complete walk-through of the app reskinning process. The source code comes complete with video instruction and can be found here.

The reason I recommend this code is that it is not trendy and you can reskin it many times with different themes. Crossword puzzles are always popular and will never go out of style. That’s the type of source code I look for when I buy. The videos tell you exactly what to do from the standpoint of someone who has never built an app before. It starts from the very beginning from setting up your accounts with Apple to setting up your devices for testing. You’ll be able to go from knowing nothing about app development to publishing your first app.

If you want an inexpensive and uncomplicated way to get into app development, the Word Search Puzzle source code and video course is an excellent way to start! The source code has 3 ad networks already built-in. You just have to create accounts with those ad networks and enter your unique ID numbers into the game to generate income with this app. Once you’re done, you can reskin the source code multiple times to make new apps.
